Taxis

There's always plenty of taxis on the rank outside the airport.  The journey takes 20-25 minutes.  There's only one taxi company on the island with government controlled fares. 

The cost to Arenal is usually €35-€40 euros.  Please note standard taxis will only take 4 passengers and luggage.  Car seats are not usually provided.
